Fees & Funding

We accept government funding for all 3 and 4-year olds subject to eligibility. We are also registered for tax-free childcare schemes.

All 3* and 4-year olds in England are entitled to 570 hours of funded childcare. This is usually taken as a maximum of 15 hours a week over 38 weeks of the year, in line with Leicestershire’s school term dates.

(*funding begins the school term after a child turns 3 years old)

Working parents who meet the criteria can get 30 hours per week (for up to 38 weeks per year) of funded childcare.

A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate is required for funding to be secured. If eligible and once registered, government funding is paid directly to us by the Department of Education.

Please note – the Local Education Authority (LEA) set the term dates and inform us of how many sessions we can claim each term, it is not spread equally. In longer terms there may be a shortfall between the number of sessions claimable and the actual number of sessions in a term. Therefore, Preschool term dates may be slightly different to the main school term dates.

Fees

Where funding is not received fees apply. The current fee rate can be seen below:

Please note, snacks and meals are not included in these fees.

Fees are invoiced at the beginning of each half term and are payable in advance

Absence

Fees must still be paid if children are absent for a short period of time. If your child has to be absent over a long period of time, talk to the Preschool manager. For your child to keep their place at the setting, you must pay the fees.
